This really isn't getting the points it should be getting; granted, it could use some work, but that's exactly what should be encouraged. Keep at it, man... do lots and lots of it... don't let a few GFX perfectionist meanies keep you from putting your all into modelling! +7

i cant stand 3d max either, great texturing javier.

once u get rid of it, 3ds max is a very good software. But if U're a begginer, U might prefer maya.Let's point out that maya's rigging system is a lot better than the 3ds max 1, let's hope they'll improve it with the 9th version (the 8th one is about to come out, without new features concerning rigging).

About Ur model, U guy have skills, U know modelling, texturing and stuff.Just tweak your model to make it looking more like lara,especially concerning the face, looks like it has been stretched horizontally.
Make her eyebrows thicker and shorter, close her mouth and make it shorter and thicker, Lara has sensual lips!
Add some make-up to her eyes, and change their color to make them look darker
Correct the orientation of the piece of hair hanging down her face, and make it longer and thiner.
Make her nose less pointed.
